Antique Victorian 1894 Birmingham hallmarked sterling silver Levi & Salaman floral accented repousse style motif eight piece travel vanity set in its original velvet lined fitted case. The set includes two lidded circular boxes with gilt interiors that measures 1 7/8\" diameter x 1\" thick. There is also a sterling silver topped nail buffer, two pairs of sterling handle manicure scissors, a sterling handle nail file, cuticle cleaner and a nail brush. All pieces appear in very nice condition with modest wear and virtually no signs of use. The only flaw in the set is a tiny piece broken off of the tip of one pair of scissors. All pieces have a JS(?) monogram and English hallmarks. The interior of the case is also in fine condition with no rips, tears or stains. The exterior of the lid shows some paint fade and wear but remains in good shape. The case fastens shut securely. A lovely old set that has survived well. VERY GIFTABLE.
