Antique Die-cut Valentine from GermanyDescription: Antique diecut Valentine from Germany. It really is exquisite with the regard to the quality and details. A three-dimensional Valentine with diecut, embossing, gold gilding, honeycomb tissue, and a floral printed vellum paper window! Marked \"printed in Germany\" under the waves on the bottom right. When laying flat, it measures 9.75\" across. Height is 6.5\". Depth when standing is approximately 2.25\".
Gorgeous condition for the age of this item. The few flaws that I see include a few bends and creases (lower left corner and the scrolling flowers atop the state room). While the honeycomb does not appear to have any torn spots that I can see, it does has some \"squares\" that are larger than others. Not sure if it was manufactured that way or if some honeycomb was torn out over the years). The most amazing thing to me is that the transparent vellum with roses paper (in the window) does not have any tears in it!!!! It is a gem!
Due to the high value of this piece and the delicate nature of the piece, it will NOT be shipped internationally.
