Judaica by Gorham

Outstanding Judaica Gorham sterling silver two-piece set featuring a plate and a Challah knife with applied gold wheat and grapes with stipple background. The plate bears Gorham's stamp and the Gorham date mark for the year 1871. This set includes a footed Challah plate measuring 10 1/2" in diameter, and a Challah knife measuring 12 1/4".
The plate has a presentation inscription and is dated 1872 (see photos). The plate and knife are in very good vintage condition as shown in the photos.
The fitted box is in as-is condition with some damage. This is a rare find!Wonderful set!
