“Photosdo not do justice”.Truly superb, rare and amazing vintage hard to find sand cast sterling silver &14Kyellow gold concho belt signed bySanto Domingo Pueblo artist, Anthony Lovato.There are 9 conchos plus the buckle a total of 10 conchos. It is 439grams including the leather belt. It is in very good used vintagecondition the leather belt is 39” L X 4” thick (not one of thebest quality leather) the buckle is 3” x 2” ½ and the conchosare 3” X 2” each and all in very good used vintage condition.

AnthonyLovato (Kewa/Santo Domingo Pueblo) is the 2023 recipient of the MIACLiving Treasure Award. Lovato is a master of tufa metal casting knownfor his corn design jewelry and canteens. Lovato grew up aroundjewelry, first working with metal in 1973, and becoming a dedicatedmetal smith in 1984. He attended the Institute of American IndianArts, where he focused his studies in metalwork and museum studies,and then worked at the Museum of Northern Arizona, also takingjewelry classes at Northern Arizona University and the University ofColorado. Lovato has received dozens of awards—from the Santa FeIndian Market, the Red Earth Nation Show, the Eight Northern IndianPueblos Show, The Heard Guild Indian Market, and others—and hasbeen featured in several magazines throughout the United States. Afifth-generation jeweler, his primary influences include AllanHouser, Charles Loloma, and his grandfather, Leo Coriz.
