A very fine and extraordinarily rare travel/desk clock by Tiffany & Co. The 14k solid yellow gold case is adorned with a gorgeous Art Deco triple diamond pattern on all six outside planes. The interior of the upper door is engraved with the initials G.E.C. It is also signed on the interior rim of the upper door, Tiffany & Co. 14k.

The 14k gold case - absent the clock movement - weighs approx 200 grams!

The movement is a 15 jewel Swiss-made 8 day mechanical movement. It is signed Cortland by Concord Watch Co. Winding of the time and alarm features, as well as the setting of the alarm time, are all done via winding mechanisms that are attached to the back of the movement. Setting of the time is done via a small winding key, (included). The inner workings of the movement are shrouded by a polished brass cover. The movement was recently serviced and all features are running properly, including the alarm.

The dial is a silver tone with standard numerals at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 positions with round bezeled markers at the remaining hours. It is signed Tiffany & Co., 8 days, Alarm, Swiss. The hour, minute and alarm hands are gold with lume on the minute and hour hands, as well as on the round bezeled hour markers.

The beveled glass crystal is in beautiful shape.

The clock will be accompanied by a blue Tiffany & Co. box and a small white Tiffany & Co. envelope and blank card.
