The base and stem are richly embossed with scroll, shell and foliate ornaments.

The detachable upper section with eight mobile branches and a detachable servant light (Shamosh).
The stem is topped with gilded finial in the shape of the Tables of The Decalogue inscribed in Hebrew: "to light a Hanukkah candle" (blessing), topped with a Torah crown.
The base is engraved with a dedication in both Hebrew and English that reads - "This Menorah was presented in everlasting memory to the Manchester New Synagogue by Mr. And Mrs. K. Prige, Kislev 5685, November 1924".Monogrammed cartouche to the base - "K.P".Fully hallmarked (on each piece) for London, England, dated 1924, maker's mark for Jacob Rosenzweig.
