Incredible and RARE 5+ FOOT Vintage Lighted 1963 Santa Claus & Snow Base Blow Mold Display from L.A. Goodman Manufacturing Co. out of Chicago IL. Marked on Santa's back and dated 1963. LIGHTS UP AND WORKS GREAT! Stands approximately 63.5" total tall. A. bit over 5 feet out of the stand. He is an early plastic, not the typical blow mold plastic that you see, more of a matte finish, almost celluloid-like. He comes with a patch of snow that is his stand (snow stand measures: 18" x 24" approximately) and has footprints so you can place him in correctly. He does have a few grommet holes for air/heat vent flow under his arms. This was a store display originally, just because of its sheer immense size!! We are guessing it was a display piece in a high end retail store in Chicago. It would have been an expensive piece for a store display budget even then. It sure would have done its job of bringing in customers young and old alike. The L.A. Goodman Manufacturing Company was established in the 1940's in Chicago and produced quality lighted signs and Christmas/Santa/Holiday decorations. A truly unique opportunity to add an extraordinary Christmas item into your collection. A one of a kind piece for a family to love years and years to come!!

Overall good pre owned vintage condition. It was purchased from the original owners. Lights up and works great! Shows some light wear particularly around the edges from age and storage. Some edge binding clips missing. It does stay and hold closed but you may want to figure out a way to secure the edges for your own personal display needs. A few tiny cracks around the edges here and there. A few stray marks and some light scratches/lifting of color in places and patches on Santa. Some dirt/dust present throughout. He may need a wiping down. The stand shows some wear including a few patches of discoloration and some dust/dirt and a few cracks. The stand does fit Santa's feet and was part of the original display but is not marked. Please inspect photos carefully using the zoom tool provided. Ask questions before offerding on an sale or purchasing as a Buy it Now.
