FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: LARGE, AMERICAN KEROSENE BANQUET LAMP MADE BY BOSTON SANDWICH GLASS CO. DURING 1880-1890.THE LAMP IS EXTRA RARE. THIS IS ONLY THE SECOND EXAMPLE, THAT I'VE EVER FOUND. THE OTHER ONE HAS SAME METAL ON STONE FIGURAL BASE WITH EMERALD GREEN OVERLAY GLASS FONT. I AM ALSO LISTING IT ON (SEE MY OTHER ITEMS). THE OVERSIZED, WHITE OVER CRANBERRY CUT GLASS FONT IS STUNNING, HAS NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR REPAIRS.THE CLEAR, WHEEL CUT GLASS SHADE IS OLD-ORIGINAL AND IN A GREAT CONDITION, ONLY SOME USUAL BUBBLING AND SWIRLS IN THE GLASS.THE ORIGINAL P& A HARVARDBURNER IS COMPLETE, WORKS WELL WITH KEROSENE.ALL FINISHES ARE ORIGINAL AS WELL, HAVE MINOR WEAR CONSISTENTWITH AGE, NO STRESS DAMAGES.THE MEASUREMENTS ARE: 24 1/2" TALL TO THE TOP OF THE SHADE, THE GLASS FONT IS 6 1/4" IN DIAMETER, THE STONE BASE IS 5 1/2" X 5 1/2".PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK QUESTIONS, SEE MY OTHER ITEMS AND VISIT US AT: GONEWITHTHEWINDANTIQUES.COMOur unique collection of American "gone with the wind" lamps took many years to form.
