36 piece Rose Famille tea set for 10 - dragon pattern in mint condition / museum worthy ,
VERY VERY THIN!! - this set was a custom order, purchased from china in late 1800's by the family of Admiral Byrd of Richmond, VA.
It is said to have been commissioned between 1870-1880. The set has been kept in a locked cabinet in a large plantation in VA and has never been used. The set was then purchased in late 1980's by former U.S. Secretary of State Lawrence S. Eagleburger, and has been in our family ever since, the set was purchased from from a dealer who was a Member of the New England Appraisers association. This set is currently listed with a local pick up option due to its extremely fragile nature. I would be willing to professionally pack, ship and insure upon request. This is an estate item and sold as is no returns, you are welcome to pick up in person or come see it in person as well. We are also willing to travel up to 100 miles to meet for pickup.
