Offer is for entire lot of 28 straight intricately carved Mexican canes (includung a scarce thin hooked handle carnival cane) . This collection has been carefully curated over past 40 + years.

All canes are soft deerskin lace lashed to an early child sized wood mortised antique drying rack. All may be removed by untying laces with no damage to canes.

All canes are in excellent condition.

Entire collection can be removed from rack and displayed according to buyer’s wishes or mounted on wall lashed to vintage rack which is included in sale. Rack is in two parts hinged with three leather laces accented by three old copper concho buttons.

Each cane is unique - only the finest examples were collected over the many years of searching. All except for hooked carnival are the straight cane or walking stick style. Thickness varies, the largest could be used as a club. Some have original metal tips. Some have smoothly finished horn handles.

All in superior as found condition - no breaks - those few minor checking rubbed with professional filler wax.

All canes have superb vibrant color and only lightly coated with beezwax wuth soft cloth used to preserve finish.
