This is an absolutely gorgeous antique piece made and decorated by Haviland & Co of Limoges France. It is beautifully floral decorated bowl with a small gold decorated pedestal bottom. The bowl bears both Haviland France makers marks on the underside dating the piece back as far as 1900 through 1917; and authenticating that it was both made and decorated by the Haviland Company of Limoges France. Haviland being one of the very foremost porcelain makers in the history of Limoge china. It presents in excellent condition with no signs of wear whatsoever; free of chips, cracks, scratches, and paint loss. Despite its great age, it truly looks fabulous. This bowl is wonderfully pleated all the way down and around with pretty scalloped edges, giving it a great look. The light floral decoration appears inside and out with small pink and blue flowers and green foliage. It sits upon a small pedestal which has pretty gold scalloped accents all the way around. The bowl is a great size standing 3 in tall with a 10 in top opening, weighing in at 1 pound 10 ounces. A piece such as this is special, as it has everything going for it.
