This is a 1901 Overton Manufacturing Company cigar trade stimulator called the \"Hoo Doo\".  The Hoo Doo is clockwork operated, you wind it up and each coin played spins the wheel and where it lands dictates the amount of \"trade\" the patron receives.  The case and the mechanism are all original and the case is in original finish.  The cigar label as seen on the front is a new old stock label, but is new to the machine.  When I got the machine the original label was not readable and had to be replaced.  I did not attempt to age it.  The machine works.  At one point the back door had been pried open and some of the surrounding wood was chipped.  The key works, but the door can be popped open due to the piece of wood being chipped away.  I am quite certain the chipped wood can be repaired.  There is no cash box.  This is a very hard machine to find.  Please view all the photographs and ask any questions prior to offerding.  Thank you.
