I have a very rare and very beautiful piece of memorabilia from the 1904 St Louis World\'s Fair. My great-great grandfather was a county commissioner and was directly involved with the World\'s Fair exposition. What I am listing for sale are two of the pieces that were left to me from my family. We have enjoyed them for over a hundred years and it is time for someone else to add these pieces to their collection. What I have is a framed print of Miss Liberty from France and Miss United States. The peace has been extremely well cared for and framed for over the past 50 years. There are no holes, tears or damaged areas that I can see. The current framing on this piece was done in the early 1960s I believe and as such I am not going to unframe it to inspect it any further. The peace also shows the date of the Louisiana Purchase and other small details. I am not exactly sure how large the piece is some of it is still inside of the frame and cannot be seen without removing the back. My great-great-grandfather HO (Henry) Anderson received one of these pieces when the exposition closed. Along with this I have an original map that is dated 4/1 of 1904. The colors are beautiful and vivid as it has been stored in a safe all of its life and never on display. These are two unique pieces for the collector and I am happy to provide any other information I can without unframing the peace. The frame size of the piece is approximately 21 in by 21 in. The map is printed on a standard size piece of paper that was folded.
