This early Adams & Westlake Southern Pacific RR lantern has patent dates that range from 1897-1912...it comes with its original 5 3/8\" globe embossed \"SP Co\" which is in good condition...no cracks...no scratches..a few air bubbles and the maker\'s tiny dimple above the \"S\"......the lantern stands true and is embossed\"SP Co.\"...condition is good...the font has a brass burner embossed \"Adlake Chicago\" and is in good working order....all joints are solid and the lantern has no noted rust...it wears its original patina..there are 2 tiny dings on the smoke dome...the right locking ear? loop that has a shop repair? functions well.
