I hope the photos uploaded will help speak for the description and the condition. This was purchased at an estate that had lots of Railroad Items and Memorabilia. I was told this was an electric lantern used on the railroad. The last patent year I see on the top is 1926. You will see in one of the photo\'s where it is imprinted/engraved on the top, *GENESY ELECTRIC LANTERN CO.*U.S.A. KANSAS CITY-MO* In the middle are the \'PATENTED\' dates. There are some dings, used-in condition and age related wear. It looks to have a copper metal handle and the other is maybe an aluminum type metal. It has 2 small bulbs secured on the bottom. I tried to get photos of each side, top and bottom. With the handle up, measuring from the top of the handle to the bottom, it measures approximately 12 1/2 inches tall.
