Rare 3 1/2 Leg Variety

Up for sale is the 1926 D Buffalo Nickel which is shown in the pictures and which is the actual coin you will receive if you are the winning buyer. As was the case with the 1936 D Buffalo Nickels, as the die wore, Mint workers polished the dies excessively, resulting in partial loss of the front right leg; hence, the 3 1/2 leg variety. These are rare die varieties and even more rare in the higher circulated grades, such as the coin shown here. I rate this one between F and VF, but you examine the pictures and judge for yourself. This is a nice coin that will be a welcome addition to any collection.
