Rare European Return Dodge WC54 Ambulance restored as a M*A*S*H IGOR/Korean War tribute from Pig-Town Dodge Restorations, Oak View, CA. Interior roof and side panelshave been removed, painted and reinstalled...NO TYPICAL ROOFRUST FOUND as theprevious owners hadhad the foresight to remove the cardboard insulation long ago.You\'ll never find another with no rot, California Truck with Historical Plates, CLEAN CLEAR TITLE IN SELLER\'S NAME!!! Genuine Dodge Straight Six FLATHEADPowered, 12V Conversion, AVM Front Hubs, full interiorpatientbay with troop seats, litter brackets, storage boxes WITH LIDS AND T-HANDLES, no expense has been spared in acquiring the properinteriorparts. Rear doors are as solid and straightas you will ever find. Ideal for the Museum,re-enactor, veteran, paradeor TV/movie use, turn-key, runs, drives, stops, etc.

The French Army added reinforcing panels to the lower outersides of the patient compartment, giving it an \"up armored\" look...very well done, and has likely been part of a NATO rebuild. The body is an July of 42 production and the frame is a December 42 production components, which is a common mismatch resulting from the depot rebuildprocess. I was also told by the fellow that sold it to me that is was used in the TV show according to the fellow he bought it from in the 80\'s (but I have no proof and am skeptical of that claim). Late 3/4 ton springs have been installed overthe front axle to handle the extra weight of the upgraded .040 overT118 236ciengine installed.

Tires are NDT 900x16\'s with 50-75% tread remaining and are completely roadworthy.

Due to numerous questions regarding long-rangedriveability, the following items have been renewed: Water Pump, Thermostat, Water Tube and Fuel Pump. If you have never driven a world war II vintage vehicle or Power Wagon, you need to be aware that these vehicles were designed for un-improved roads, NOT freeway driving as they only cruise comfortably at 45mph...55mph is possible, but only if you want to hear the motor scream due to the 5.83 gear ratio, this truck is ungoverned, so engine damage from over revving would be possible at top speed. If planning to drive it home long distances, plan on doubling the typical driving time and taking secondary roads. It will only also get about ten miles per gallon and has a 30 gallon capacity. Shipping this truck would be the wise choice, we will gladly work with your shipper.

Window glass is original or near original with some debonding and a crack in the passenger wind wing. The 3/4 ton ambulance from the show had similar condition glass, so we left it alone. Replacement glass and weather stripping kits are readily available but not included in sale, nor is the labor required to renew.

If the unit markings aren\'t to the winning buyers liking, we can easily change them to the unit/period of choice at no additional cost. Stars on the doors can be added also, but have been left off as there were none on the ambulances from the show.

When compared to a similar one that sold in January, this truck is in far superior
