1944 Article: Smith & Wesson Triple-Lock Revolver and the 44 Special Cartridge This is an original magazine article that was removed from the August 1944 issue of American Rifleman Magazine. The title of this article is \"The S&W Triple-Lock and the .44 Special Cartridge\" by Gordon C. Boser. A paragraph from this article is provided below: \"Back in the early twenties, when I first saw the Smith & Wesson Triple-Lock revolver, I decided that if ever I found one of these guns in perfect or near-perfect condition it would be mine. As the years went by I saw several Triple-Lock guns, all with ruined barrels, but with the tightest cylinders and cranes that I ever saw on any gun of the double-action type. In April, 143, when a dealer showed me a perfect Triple-Lock Target model, in original condition, it didn\'t take long to make a deal\".This article contains 2-1/2 pages, 2 illustrations and 1 photo. Page(s) measure approximately 8.25\" wide by 10.75\" tall. Article is in very good condition. Paper may show toning due to the quality and age of paper. This article is not a reproduction, but removed from the original magazine. Note: pages only and not the entire magazine included. (Inv#hisart4409)We do combine shipping on multiple purchases.
