1946 AMRCA custom prototype Class A tether race car. Thisprofessionallyhand built Prototype was designed for all out racing to compete with the top cars in the Nation in 1946-1947. The car features a bar stock aluminum custom machined chassis with a custom made 60 size ignition engine, Serial # 42, that turns over through the gears with strong compression. The body is made from light weight hand carved wood. There are some very unique racing features found in the design of this car that was long before it\'s time, like the fuel tank with the large \"ram air\" pressurizing system and the rear wheelie bar wheel. The wheels and tires are in good solid shape. The race car is complete.The car is fully wired and includes a Smith Firecracker Coil and condenser, shut off switch and battery box along with all of the original \"As Raced\" patina!
