Lovies guitars San Diego is proud to offer up a gorgeous, rare and very VINTAGE 1951 Gibson ES-175 hollow body electric guitar in the rich and matured Sunburst finish! We are humbled to have such an elder pass through our shop on it’s magical musical journey into its next musicians hands! In its over 60 years, this one must have been present for some amazing cultural transitions! The music this thing has created at the hands of inspired musicians through the decades must have left a soul within this wood! The sound is so incredible, it oozes with depth and character that can only be possible from a true vintage! This one is a treasure! It is in great shape with only light lines, and signs of wear and finish checking. The age is part of this guitars finish now and it is beautiful! The integrity of this amazing guitar is intact with no breaks cracks or repairs! That alone is a valuable statement! This may be in part to the newer case it has been protected by that ensured its safety. The original cases of the era were flimsy and guitars were easily damaged if the case was not upgraded. Someone made the right choice along the way and now it is in great shape for its next adventure! Really great opportunity, especially if vintage is your thing. It doesn’t get much more vintage than this! Incredibly awesome vibe that makes you want to plug it in and just get carried away! Really rich guitar. They don’t make em like this anymore!
