You are offerding on an original 1967 Ford Mustang/Shelby AM radio complete with knobs, bezel, and rear mounting bracket. The metal knobs are not Mustang units but are from a Mercury. They are the same as the Mustang except the outer ones are not quite as thick. Part numberfor this radio is 7TPZ and it was made by Philco. In fact, the inspection sticker is still attached to the top. This isdesignedspecifically for the '67 Mustang and has the "1 year only" chromed push buttons. This radio has been benchtested for several hours and it does work very well. It is alwaysrecommended toadjust the antenna trimmer after installation but it was adjustedduring bench testing. All functions operate asthey should. Push buttons work very smoothly and set stations properly (mechanism just lubricated).Manual tuning works fine up and down the scale. Tone control works properly.The wiring andconnectors are fully intact. Radio is ready to plug into the under dash wiring connectors. Dial indicator is bright in color (just repainted) and thedial light is functional. Radio comes with a VERY NICE set of chrome plated, metal knobs. As mentioned above, they are Mercury knobs which are almost identical to the Mustang ones. I will provide a $10 credit if the knobs are not needed.The plastic dial lens face has been lightly polished and the numbering is still very bright. The silver strip above the push buttons has been repainted. The push buttons are in excellent condition! The chrome is very shiny with no peeling or cracks. Radio casing is very clean and the inside has beenblown free of any dust and loose debris. The bezel is the correct '67 unit with the C7 part number. It is also in excellent condition with no pitting on the chrome or wear on the black painted area. The black area on the underside of the front has a few very minor scratches.This is a very nice, high quality radio for your 1967 Ford Mustang/Shelby restoration project! The pictures really don't do this radiojustice. Believe me, you will not be disappointed with this super nice unit! I have sold many radios over the years through .
