1985 M1028 Chevrolet CUCV Army Truck:
$5000.00

I\'m regretfully selling my CUCV\'s. This one is a 1985 M1028 that is in great shape. No body rust. These M1028\'s differ from the M1008\'s by having an overload spring in the rear spring pack and the front Dana 60 also has a trac-lok differential in it. This truck was originally assigned to the440TH SIGNAL BN CO A CMBRAIFRTSCH KSRN (Cambrai-Fritsch Kaserne) in Germany and then ended up with a Armyreserve unit in UTAH.

Ipurchased this truck from Boyce equipment a year and a half ago and have enjoyed it ever since. I drive it to work about once a week and it runs fantastic. I have replaced the front dash pad with a new GM pad not just a dash cover along with new hardware. It has 2 brand new 6TL batteries installed last month. Body and frame are very solid including cab corners and rocker panels, the frame still has some of the factory chalk marks on it as seen in the pics. All fluids have been changed including the front and rear diffs, transmissionand the transfer case. The tires are at about 95% tread remaining. It fires right up on the first bump of the key every time.

This truckdoes have and comes with a clear Texastitle. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arraignments, I will do my best accommodate your shipper as far as meeting and assisting. truck is located in Houston TX on the north side. Payment by certified funds, cash in personor direct wire only

For those that aren\'t familiar with the specs they are as follows

GM 6.2 Diesel

TH400 3 speed transmission

Dana 60 front axle 4.56 gears(with trac-lok) M1028 only

GM 14 bolt full float rear 4.56 gears and Detroit locker

NP208 transfer case (not available on civilian K30\'s)

MORE PICS />On Oct-01-16 at 08:35:54 PDT, seller added the following information:

The reserve is considerably less than the BIN price. These trucks are getting harder to find not beat to pieces or canabalized terribly from the sales and most now don\'t run. I have depot maintenance paperwork from the army that will accompany the truck showing many replaced and repaired items before it left service such as injectors replaced, 1 generator, and several leaks addressed including the rear main seal. The truck leaks or seeps nothing at all.
