A rare left hand drive Pinzgauer 718. It came out of the military sales in Salzburg, Austria. The gearboxhas beenupgraded and external fan cooler for the automatic transmission was added as well as adding the intercooler for more power.It was also upgraded with a p93 front intercooler housing and headlight mounts. I purchased the truck and imported it into the U.S. and have had for almost a year.
The truck is a 1988 and runs perfectly with only 42k miles. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere in the world. These diesel variants are the Cadillac\'s of the Pinzgauers! Absolute pleasure to drive, not a chore. Automatic transmission with selectable low range transfer case. Disc brakes at all wheels with dual calipers on each front wheel (stops on a dime)! Power steering (no broken thumbs), working heat, push button lockers with ability to lock all 6 wheels. Comfortable seating in the cab. Large capacity fuel tank (140 liters or 36.9 gallons).It can carry over 3klbs of cargo. Can be comfortably and safely driven on the highway. The underbody is virtually rust free and in excellentunrestored original condition.Extras and new things the truck has:

* 7 new 255/85/R16 BFG KM2 tires.
* Front winch bumper with a 24v 9klb superwinch.

Less than 6000 of these were made in Austria back prior to 2000, not many in left hand drive Making this truck very RARE. There are hardly any here in the states. I have all import and clearance paper work from U.S.Customs allowing the vehicle into the country. Truck is in Massachusetts.
Also worth noting for those that don\'t know, this isNOT a gas powered 712 so don\'t compare prices to those listed at $18 to $35k dollars, its not the same. This is a real Pinzgauer718M Turbo Diesel that you can comfortably drive on the street and just about anywhere else you wish. The gas versions are glorified tractors by comparison as far as comfort, noise level, and driving enjoyment. Don\'t get me wrong I love those too but its NOT the same.
