1992 BMY M934A2 - Military Bugout Vehicle, 6x6, 5-Ton Military Truck m923, m35:
$18000.00
This vehicle was rebuilt by the government in 2010, at a cost of $111k (see sticker). The military used these trucks as military command posts--wherever it was, there is still sand in it. It is a 23 year old truck, with some dust, rust, peeling paint and imperfections. My plans exceed my funds so I need to sell. The ripped driver\'s bottom seat was re-upholstered this week in military-colored naugahyde/fake leather. The rest of the seats are in good condition--including seatbelts. There is a small gap above side window--window rain deflectors should do the trick. (See photos). I\'ve seen similar issues with almost all other trucks I looked at. Cab has rust from a previous leak, possibly from something that appears to have been previously screwed onto the top. For now, I replaced the screws and caulked the screw holes, removed much of the foam insulation pads, replaced and painted the ceiling pegboard on 04/24/14. I scrubbed the cab and gave rusty parts a touch-up. I painted the ceiling, doors, and rusted portions of the dash. I\'ll give you the rest of the green paint for more touchups. Passenger front window has a dogleg crack several inches long but is not webbed. All 6 tires are matching and are 90% or better, including the matching spare mounted behind the cab. Truck still has a 3-ton military air conditioner, requiring 3-phase power (vs my 1-phase generator) so I have been unable to check if it\'s in working condition. The cargo ceiling lights have almost all working bulbs (checked), and plug outlets (unchecked, so far). I replaced the original white plywood walls in the back with newly purchased white material (Dibond®) that won\'t rot, but left the insulation beneath because it was in excellent shape. (I left the protective film on the Dibond® --you\'ll see the walls peeling in some spots which is merely the protective film.)Data on the dashboard screwplate says 76 gallon capacity. My best guess at gas mileage is 8 mpg. Will run 70 mph on the interstate, but best at 60-65 mph. Clean TN title, in-hand.* Full cash payment due upon pickup, within 7 days of sale close. Also for sale locally, so this ad may be canceled before sale close (if there is met). Buyer is responsible for pickup, but I can deliver locally free.
