2 Vintage Black White Gold Lined Demitasse Cup Saucer German Unusual Mark:

This sale is for 2 vintage demitasse cups and saucers.The matte black finish is offset by white flowers and gold trim.The inside of the cups are lined with gold. There is some gold loss inside one of the cups (please see photo of cup on right and closeup).There is some wear on the handles.The set is marked, but I\'m unsure what it says - possibly Schauthel? It also says \"Frankfurt.\"A fellow member identified the wheel with a crown and cross mark as that of C. C. Puhlmann & Son of Darmstadt, Germany. The member said Darmstadt is a metropolitan area of Frankfurt and that the mark was used from 1970-1977.The saucer is 4 inches in diameter. The cup is about 2 3/4 inches in diameter and approximately 1 1/2 inches tall.Please check out my other sales.
