About our Company

Slices Concession was founded in 2005 by University ofFlorida graduates and we specialize in ice cream equipment. Since 2012, we have opened a new location inReno Nevada to serve all your west coast needs. We do the majority of our business in thewholesale market, selling to other resellers and refurbishers in theindustry. At one time, you would havefound us at our own Ice Cream store (The Gelato Company), so we know howimportant it is to have a reliable ice cream machine. We are a Florida base LLC and we believestrongly in supporting our troops and supporting small businesses. We have warehouses in Gainesville Florida(east coast operations) and Reno Nevada (west coast operations). We offer discounted prices for customers whobuy direct, as we do not enjoy passing down cost to our customers. Crating and Shipping

Please email us via for a shipping estimate. Palleting is $50. Crating is $125. Both fees cover the cost of materials onlyand we supply the muscle. Due to strict Policies, all machines purchased through are REQUIRED to becrated. Our shipper for the last fiveyears has been Mike Bergfeld with S3 Logistics/My Freight World. As a small business himself, Mike specializesin helping small businesses meet their shipping needs. You can reach Mike at 913-905-5209, butplease email us via for a shipping estimate. All shipping is insured during transit.

Warranties and Guaranties

If you are not in the Gainesville Florida area we do notoffer any warranties on the machine. Asmuch as we would like to, we are not setup to do warranty service due to thedistance. Our machines are sold as is infull working condition at the point of shipping. Please note that though rare, when shippingice cream machines sometimes sensitive copper fittings and lines can be knockedloose from vibrations during shipping, requiring additional repairs onarrival. The machine you order will bereinspected before it leaves our warehouse.We encourage customers to come by and inspect the machines beforepurchase. We can turn the machines onand show you how to use, clean, and troubleshoot problems. If you are unable to physically inspect themachines yourself, I recommend that you hire a local Gainesville refrigerationcompany (cost $80-$120 for peace of mind) to come by and inspect themachines. In town we recommend A PlusRefrigeration (352-374-4988), as they are a great company that has donethorough inspections for past customers of ours.

Payment

We do not take Paypal.We accept cashier’s check, wire transfer, credit cards, and cashonly. There is a three day hold oncashier’s checks and credit cards purchases.Checks will be made out to Slices Concession and we are proud Bank ofAmerica members.
