My pride and joy!!! Lowest miles I have seen in country for sale. Just over 2000 miles with extremely low hours.
BMY 923A2 5 Ton 6X6 in all original condition. 8.3l Cummins with extremely low hours paired with an Allison 5 speed automatic transmission and CTIS system.
My truck never appeared to be put into service! Registered and titled as a 1989. I bought this truck and two others a while ago. I kept this as my personal truck and have taken it to shows and tailgated out of it onoccasion. Its all original in fantastic working condition. It even comes with its original accessories (some still in their original boxes) right down to the original US Government issued master locks. The onlypart I\'ve had to buy for this truck is a brand new military issue top for the cab (the stitches started to deteriorate from age on the original.One unique feature to this truck is its side mounted dry cell batteries in a custom tray. I\'ve seen side mounted batteries, but never in this configuration! Perfect for super easymaintenance.I\'ve also got a stack of paper work detailing themaintenance its had over the course of its life. Even though its barely driven 2000 miles it had yearly fluid changes to keep it ready to go. The best I can tell it was stationed in Utah as part of the USNationalGuard motor pool.These trucks cost thegovernment over $80k back in the late 80\'s. Thats well over $100k in todaysdollars. It gets more looks than you can imagine!!!! The best part is when you look down at truck drivers driving their \"big\" rigs. I\'ve titled it as Historic so that your everyday person can drive it.
You will find a few trucks all over the internet that claim to be restored or \"zombieapocalypse\" machines. Most of them seem to be a good deal but have thousands of hours and miles on them. You could also search the government sales but the trucks on those sights are few and far between. They are also for the most part in very poor condition. This truck is all original with documentedmaintenance. Its hasn\'t been beat up or painted tocamouFlage flaws. You can certainly turn it into what ever you want after purchase but it may be your only chance to buy a unmolested truck!
