We bought this at Bryant Stove Works, Bryant Maine in 1985.

They had completed restored this antique

NEAR-MINT CONDITION

we used this for about 5 years at a home we had in the mountains

COMES APART WITHOUT TOOLS

the legs come off

the front and side doors come off

the domed top comes off

(you do have to loosen a nut to take the adornment off the domedtop)

the flat hot plate under the dome comes off

i do not think that the main body weighs any more than 40 pounds –not sure, but i do remember that two old men can handle it quite easily.

all the pieces fit in the back of my SUV just fine.

i also have a custom-made wooden base under the stove (in my case,to protect our wood floor from dents from the legs). we have used this as adisplay piece for the past 25 years at our home in the central arizona desert.

the easiest thing is for someone with a pickup truck or an suv totake delivery and drive it home. if youwant it shipped, i leave it up to you to find a crating company – i willdeliver it to any shipping service in central arizona for you – but you findthe crating and shipping shop – too often buyers get me to shop prices thenthey just disappear so i am not willing to invest the time to find a shippingservice for large items anymore – sorry.

the front grate just inside the main door is broken – needs to bespot welded, but functions great as it is. but for this, i would call this Mintinstead of near-mint.

there is no rust

there is no other damage to this beauty!

we’re moving, so it’s time to find a new home for this fantasticantique stove

depending on where we are at in our move, i might have a custommade cultured marble slab available (which we used to protect a tile floor –wanting to spread the weight out instead of four legs driving into the tils).
