8 3/8 inch (closed) Folding Knife - in \"as found\" uncleaned condition. Antique Folding Bowie Fighting / Hunting Knife - the blade is stamped: WEILER. We believe the knife is British - but it also could be German ?? In the folded position - the clip point blade is 4 1/16 inches - fully extended the blade measures 7 3/8 inches. Can be used either with the blade folded - or with the blade extended. Both folded and extended - the lockup is weak (unless you hold down the locking tab, when extended). Brass liners - nickel silver handle scale pins and shield. Checkered ebony (we believe) handle scales - there is a crack and small chip out next to the nickel silver shield - but both scales are tight and solid. We do NOT have a sheath for this knife. We sell our items the way we find them - and leave any cleaning, repair or oiling up to the high buyer. Please study the pictures - they are the most important part of the description!
