Sausage Stuffer/Grinder-Offered is an old cast iron sausage grinder/stuffer marked \"Patented March 13, 1859\", also has a 12 embossed on it. Body including spout measures 8\" long. Has two intermeshing inside rollers or grinding cylinders, one with a handle attached. Handle has a brazed weld repair near shaft. Case has a swivel latch to lock down. Base has 4 feet with mounting holes, a tip of one is broken off but stlll enough remaining to stand flat & square. I have seen these in the past but this is the smallest one I have seen. Some say these could be used to grind Tobacco? Some original black finish remains & is pretty well covered in old shallow rust pitting. A neat old grinder. I would give this a tool condition rating of G.
