Antique strong box, 12 1/2\" by 8 3/4\" base, 7\" high, hinged lid, decorative cast iron handles, faded gold paint double pinstripe lines around the lid. The 45 pound weight of this box comes from the concrete or cement reinforcement between the inner and outer walls of the box. Part of the U shaped half of the closure is broken off and missing- I think this could be fabricated by someone.
