Antique Estey Folding Pump Organ. Original un-restored condition.
These organs were used by traveling Preachers for revivals and tent meetings. I believe this organ dates to the 1880\'s.
The legs fold under when stored for transport and the bottom board becomes the base of the box. Latches and hooks secure all the pieces together.
The bellows are good and can be pumped with the foot pedals. Most of the keys work fine and sound good. A few keys just blow air and will need repair.
The wood is solid with no splits or repairs. There are a few spots of discoloration on the wood that can be seen in the photos.
The original Estey metal name tag is attached and all the hardware looks to be original. The leather handles have aged well or have been replaced at some time.
The organ measures when unfolded, 31-1/2\" tall, 32\" tall and about 12\" deep.
When in the the folded and boxed position the piece is about 12\" x 12\" x 32\".
Estate find from a couple of true collectors. Due to medical and age related reasons the previous owners has decided to part with the organ.
