Horsman Baby Bumps Body 1910-1912

This is the body only for an E. I. Horsman \"Baby Bumps\" doll, ca. 1910-1912. No head. It is a stuffed velvet teddy bear style body with jointed limbs and stitched fingers. It measures approx. 7 3/4 \" tall and the drawstring neck opening is approx. 1 3/4\" across. It would probably make about a 9 1/2\"-10\" tall Baby Bumps doll. It does have overall soil and stains, but appears to be quite sturdy and usable. I have not done anything to the body at all, as I will leave that to the buyer. You could also use this for other dolls, bears, etc. If you have any questions, please ask as this is sold as is, no returns or refunds.

E. I. Horsman \"Baby Bumps\" doll, ca. 1910-1912. Baby Bumps was originally marketed as an \"Art Doll\" or character doll fashioned after a real child. Baby Bumps had a teddy bear type velvet body with jointed limbs and stitched fingers, and the head was made of composition. It was one of Horsman\'s \"Can\'t Break-Em\" Dolls (supposedly composition dolls couldn\'t break) thus the name \"Baby Bumps\". The doll came in both black and white and sizes from 9\"-18\" tall. The \"Can\'t Break Em\" composition head had painted facial features, and the head was modeled after Kammer & Reinhardt\'s doll mold 100.
