This is a RARE Mesco (Manhattan Electric Supply Company) folding wall bracket. I believe it would be used for wall mounting an electric MESCO fan or other device. How do I know it is rare? Simply because through research I cannot find another one like it anywhere. It is stamped with the number \"5524\" and it appears to be copper or brass plated (not sure on this). It is very old and very solid, the clamping mechanism works smooth and hinges are tight with no slop. With a little restoration this would be a great addition to a MESCO or other antique collection.If you have any information on this piece please send it my way so I can add it to the sale.Good luck offerding!
