This is for a really beautiful Victorian HobbsCranberry Opalescent Daisy & Fern Square Font Oil Lamp produced during the 1880's to 1890's. This is not Fenton or LG Wright. This was never reproduced in a square font. The font is the same mold as the Hobbs Christmas Snowflake mold with the many loops on top and bottom. The font is rare being that as far as I know Hobbs did not make Daisy and Fern and Northwood as far as I know did not make Lamp Fonts. I am sure that it is 1890's before Fenton was in existance. It is ingreat shape withnochips, cracks, or repairs.The collar has some tool marks on it and has been replastered. The white opal base is in perfect shape as well. Great pattern as shown, centered on the bottom.The glass is clean with minimal residue. Measures91/4" tall to the top of the collar and the font is 4 1/2" across. ADDED IMPORTANT NOTE. PLEASE READ. The above desciption is for a prior listing that I had. This is for the Webb Epergne, not a Fairy Lamp. Please see the pictures with the dark spots on the mirror from possible welding. Both are shown in pictures #8 and #9. On the right horn there is a piece of trailing missing as shown in picture #5. It makes it wobbley if not set in the correct position. Slight color difference between the left and right horns as shown in the 1st and 3rd pictures.There is no fairy lamp insert so nothing is marked Clarke. I do not know how it updated incorrectly because I added a detailed listing.
