Here is a great lot of Hand Made African American dolls plus extras. One Pepsin Gum Pin from 1896. 9 Hand Made cloth dolls. Three plastic or rubber dolls. 3 hand made wood cut pieces. One vintage Sambo\'s restaurant tiger.We mention the Pepsin Gum Pin first because the value is easy to determine between $65-$100, depending on who\'s offerding. This piece is marked on the back of the pin with the original patent card, dated 1896. Shown in pictures.The Hand Made, Hand Sewn, and Hand Painted, dolls are from different times and places. We can not tell you a lot about them other than what we see. They are all dusty and tattered from years of use and display. One large Topsy Turvy doll from Barbados. 16\" with a silky yellow and green dress with flowers that says Barbados on one side, and yellow small flower pattern on the other side. Arms on both sides. Both doll faces have a Applied material face. The second to last picture shows the doll dress change.One 16\" doll with long braided blond hair, blue flower dress. Applied Material face. Has arms, legs, and underwear. One 13\" stitched face doll in a purple dress. Has arms, no legs, but has under slips. With a bib that says Amanda, that is probably from another doll, and has been added to this doll.One Painted Face 12\" doll with a bib that says Jamaica. Has arms, legs, and underwear. One 6 1/2\" tall doll x 19\" diameter dress, with flat bottom. Has earrings, stitched face, and bib. The large white and red polka dot circle dress has spots of dirt. One 17\" Hand Painted Face doll. Red, green and light purple dress. Has arms, legs, bib, and underwear. Some pieces are pinned with metal needles.One 16\" Hand Painted face doll. Red, green, and pink bottom dress, with red and green flannel top. Has plant shell earrings, basket with two sacks, bib, and underwear.One 9\" Stitched face doll. Grey, pink, and blue dress. Has arms, legs, red scarf, slip, underwear, and pink feet. One doll with stitched face, and corn row hair. Red flower dress, with lace, a broom, and the Pepsin Gum pin that says Darkies Dream. Has arms but no legs.One 16 1/2\" plastic Tippy Tumbles doll from 1968. The hair has fallen and is falling out. The doll has been repaired by someone who put a screw through the leg to hold it in place. This doll does not work any more. Has dress, slip, and underwear. There is a lot of old tape residue where the leg used to be taped in place.One 11\" Gerber rubber doll with moving eyes (side to side) and tied on pink underwear. One 10\" rubber doll no clothes. Made in Hong Kong.One 8\" 1978 Sambo\'s restaurant Tiger with hard to find white shirt. Needs to be washed.Three Hand Made, Hand Painted wooden pieces. All are dusty and need to be cleaned. One 4 1/2\" hanging heart with picture. One 8 3/4\" wood watermelon heart, with a wood girl, cloth dress, and corn row hair. One 9 1/2\" wood Mammy and Pappy, with 2 hanging pegs, one peg is broken off. (But this is easily repaired). This piece is signed on the back (Country Kin, By Betty) That\'s pretty much what we have and what we can see. If you have questions please ask.
