I bought this saddle new, from England, about 4 years ago. It was a PERFECT fit for the horse I had at the time (the Appaloosa pictured here), with a medium-wide tree. I was only able to ride this saddle for maybe a year before I had to quit riding because my hubby and I were expecting our first baby. Unfortunately, shortly after that, my Appy suffered a severe injury and I had to put him down. I didn\'t ride for three years (long story), but I eventually got a new horse (the bay pictured here), and this saddle does not fit him. You can see that their backs are quite different. If your horse has a back like the Appy, you will love this saddle. The leather is butter soft, the balance is excellent, and it is very secure, with both knee and thigh blocks. Black Country has an excellent reputation, and if you have looked for a new Quantum, you know they sell for around $3400.
I have listed the shipping as $100, and I will only ship to the lower 48 states. If the actual shipping cost is significantly lower, I will be happy to refund the difference.
