Up for sale is this very nice quality 1.042\" diameter large bore Signal Cannon on My easy loading carriage. The carriage tilts to 90 degrees to make loading simple. This can also be use like a Thunder Mug when fired in the upright position. It is in new condition other than it has been test fired then cleaned. The overall length is 19.5\" and the width is 8.5\" the barrel is 16\" in length and 2.375\" in outside diameter at trunnions and they are .5\" in diameter. The barrel is made of 1018 carbon steel which has a very high tensile strength and the trunnions are stainless. These barrels are hand made and I put a lot of time into each so due to costs of materials, utilities, and I ship at a flat rate of $15.00 which saves buyer money so therefore I have to put a reserve on this sale but it is a very fare price for this size and quality. I only use 2 FF Black Powder and load a charge of 2 to 3 teaspoons for signalling. I use slow burning 1/8\" fuse, be sure that you test your fuse burn rate by lighting a measured length and timing it so it gives you enough time to get at least 50 feet or farther before signal cannon fires. Also be sure to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment when firing your signal cannon.
