This sale is for1-Charak Mahogany Block Front Secretary with Ball and Claw Feet. I was told the piece was made in the 1930\'s. The 4 Drawers all have Locks and the Key. The lid also has the Original Key. The Secretary measures 36 inches Wide x 42-1/4 inches Tall x 22 Inches Wide at the legs. The Galleryunder the lid is Very Ornate with drawers and a Center Door. The Gallery also has 2 secret drawers 1 on each side. I believe the screws for the hardware were changed in the past. The Secretary is in Very Nice Condition with onlyminor wear some scratches again this is over 80 years old so please do not expect a perfect piece of furniture that was made yesterday. The Charak Furniture Company was said to have made some of the best furniture in its time equal to that of The Kittinger Furniiture Company. Please ask all questions before you offer.
