This bottle was found in Northwest Nevada, and is believed to have been left behind by the early Chinese laborer\'s who built various railroad lines through Nevada well prior to the year 1900. Some of these railroad builders stayed behind after the railroads were finished and mined for gold, silver and other valuable commodities. Their preferred beverages, especially whiskey, were imported from China to meet their needs.*** please note: this jar was formed by hands and fingers from local clay; you can see as well as feel the high and lows spots from manual efforts - not perfectly round as in a vessel formed on a potters wheel!

4 3/4\" diameter
3 1/4\" across the base
We believe that this is an excellent example of it\'s kind, and, as such, is quite collectible!
