this is a wonderful vintage west germany cuckoo clock. it is a cuendet clock with rotating dancers and waterwheel along with the cuckoo. there hare 3 heavy pine cone weights that say 320 FF on them. the tag on the side says cuendet, swiss movement and dor frohliche wanderer holzhackerbub\'n marsch 7707-13. i believe the song is the happy wanderer. this clock belonged to my parents and i have had it on the wall and it does work. there is a figure missing and i believe it may be an with an axe as there is a pile of wood beside it and the pendulum may have been replaced. . the windows have curtains and flower boxes. the cuckoo sings. the dancers do go around along with the water wheel occasionally but the chain for this movement is hard to pull. perhaps some oil would fix it. germany is stamped in the back door that comes off along with L on the inside. It is 11.25 inches wide and 8 .75 tall. unfortunately it is driving my husband bonkers with the noise....very nice clock from a smoke free home. i will ship from michigan for u.s buyers if payment is made within one day of the sale end as i make only one weekly trip to michigan (i live in canada) for mailing. shipping is 20.00 within the u.s and 25.00 within canada.
