I have for your consideration, a vintage and very old ERIE brand #9 Cast Iron Skillet. This is the second series edition circa 1886-1892. Has the outer heat ring. Reinforced lip around the skillet edge. Reinforced tab at pan on ribbed handle. No edition, part numbers. Postage stamp makers mark which was only used on #9 skillets and mostly on the Second Series. Overall in very good original condition as the cooking surface is in excellent condition with no pitting or marks but the bottom does show some pitting along the edge of the heat ring. This pan has not been restored. See pics! Lightweight and rings like a bell, characteristic of early ERIE cast iron. Shows really nice as the cooking surface is clean and bright.
