For sale is an antique electric operated alarm bell that carries 1907 patent dates. Getting hard to find bells of this type in this good of shape. The bell portion appears to be brass, but I believe it was painted black at the time of manufacturing. The back of the cast iron housing is marked \"Enclosed Type No 1 Movement \".. The striker moves back and forth freely, but I do not know whether the bell would function once it is connected to the appropriate electrical source. The bell appears to be complete. It is approximately 4.25\" wide and 7.5\" tall
