Fine antique Czechoslovakian or Austrian art glass vase designed in the Art Deco - Secessionist style made popular by Michael Powolny and others.

Unsigned, unmarked.

Beautiful, complex shape made with orange glass cased with clear. Decorated with black, hand-painted lines and small white enamel dots or ‘jewels’. Two thin gold horizontal lines above and below the black ’squared’ design with white dots. No pontil mark. Top rim looks factory polished before enameling. May be Loetz Tango or some other well-known company. Wear to bottom of foot. Light to medium weight glass.

Bought from an estate in San Francisco.AGE: Circa 1915 - 1925. CONDITION:

Good condition, as shown in the photos and with the following noted: No chips. No fractures. Enamel in good unworn condition with the exception of some wear to the gold lines above and below the squared design (not very noticeable).~ please click on the image for larger - high definition photos ~
