Found at a country estate sale in storage is this wonderful old country farmhouse weather vane Windmill fan w/tail. A great item to add to any folk art collection, weathervane collection, farmhouse decor etc.
Metal & wooden.
I\'m not an expert, I have taken extra photo\'s to help identify description, condition & age.
The only thing I need to point out is when I got this weathervane the fan was no longer attached. My husband found another washer and screw and re-attached the fan. In the wind the weathervane works properly moving in the right direction as the wind. The fan does not move, pretty sure it never did. Please be your own judge. I put the weathervane in a pipe we put in the ground to take picks. My last picks shows this bottom part.
Weighs approx. 1 3/4# before boxing. Will ship for 4# when boxed from Oklahoma 74647.
