This is a gorgeous antique HAVILAND LIMOGES Sauce Boat and Undertray. Boat measures approximately 6\" front to back x 3\" side to side x 2.25\" high. Undertray is app 8.75\" front to back x 5.75\" at widest.

Hand-painted birds, flowers, butterflies and grass design. Haviland mark dating between 1880s-1896. Also bears English registration mark of the time and signed by artist; Clare Snively, New York, 1886. Very rare, highly detailed and lovely work.

Overall excellent condition, vivid paint and mostly solid gilding all around. The sauce bowl has a hairline crack on either side of the handle which shows on the inside and outside of wall. It does not feel deep and does hold water. (as shown).
