Hallicrafter S-53 General Coverage Receiver(Serial # AB-85331)- Here is a working, very clean receiver ready for restoration. The front panel and lettering are good, and the frequency dial is good but the bright metal bezel has some superficial flaws (SEE PHOTOS). The knobs, feet and chassis are good (SEE PHOTOS). The cabinet needs repainting (SEE PHOTOS). The dial strings are working. There are newelectrolytic capacitors installed (SEE PHOTOS). Signals can be heard on all bands with a clip-lead antenna. There is an AC socket on the rear apron to power a turntable or other accessory (SEE PHOTO).
A user/service manual is included on CD. SOLD AS IS.
