Most looking at this listing had used or owned one of these receivers as a novice ham radio operator or swler.This example looks all original but for the line cord being replaced.The set is missing one tube and the back cardboard cover,all else seem original.The set is a nice unit for restoration as it was the Cadillac of the S-38 line of receivers.
