The Doctor Fishsticks Hammond Organ 1/4 inch output

Hammond made many organs that didn\'t have a preamp out. The includes many the M, H, and L series organs. Many people want to use these organs with Leslie speakers or more powerful amplifiers, here\'s how to do it without modifying your amplifer.

This box uses the speaker output, put\'s it through a speaker load simulator (known in the Leslie as the console resistor), and an L-pad volume control so that you can control the output.

The output volume control will give the organ \"growl\" when turned up and a mellow sound when turned down. Also you can adjust it according to what you are plugging the organ into, a Leslie likes a hot signal whereas modern guitar amplifers are used to a very low signal.

You just have to disconnect the speaker and connect it to the binding posts on this box, plug it into any amplifier and then set your output regulator to what sounds best to you.

Why Fishsticks?!?

Um... There are a few reasons. I have a 1984 Mercedes diesel that I converted to run on waste veggie oil, that kinds smells like fishsticks, so I first named that Dr. Fishsticks. I wanted to choose a name for these controllers that would let you know that I\'m not one of those way to uptight, grumpy, Hammond organ guys, that I am a guy in my converted garage workshop making this stuff for you. I don\'t have a clear coat on my online presence pretending to be a big operation, I\'m a one-man operation, and proud of it. I am a piano technician, a tube amp and Hammond/Leslie repair man, and a player, and have been an user for 15 years. Also, I like fishsticks.

I don\'t talk crap about my competitors or their products or mention them by name in my sales or in forums. I have had a few Hammond tech types try to “pick fights” with me online, I don\'t respond to these people when I realize it\'s part of a petty game. Don\'t listing to any noise from anyone who is not a customer, especially anyone who “speaks too easily.” I have 100% customer satisfaction, and that\'s what\'s important to me.
