- Vintage Handpainted German Lidded Beer Stein. This stein features a knight onhorseback barging into a town with a man running away from him. On the sidenear the handle, it says \"Unruhige Zeiten\" which translates roughlyto \"Turbulent Times.\" Along the bottom, it says \"Ruh hast du nurin der schenke,\" which translates to \"You only have rest in thetavern.\" This stein also features a decorative hinged pewter lid. Itmeasures approximately 10 1/2\" tall. Marked on bottom: Made in WestGermany - Incised with 1L and another markers mark as shown in photos.
